Officially on Winter Vacation

Well, I'm officially on my Winter Vacation.  I'm pretty excited.  My husband's family is coming to town for the holidays.  We have so much to do to prepare and we're spending so much money that we don't have.  As happy as I should be, it kind of puts me out of the Christmas spirit.  Don't get me wrong...I totally love my inlaws...especially my mother-in-law.  She's totally wonderful!...but it's my vacation!!!!  I know that is totally Grinchy of me, but I really want to relax right now and NOT clean the house and NOT spend any more money on stuff that is NOT for me.  Yes, I know.  Purely selfish and so NOT Christmasy.  I just had to purge that out of my system... Okay, I'm going to try to load a picture of a layout that I finished a little while ago:

Okay, I'm still trying to make my page look good.  Let's see how this picture posts.
I wonder how everyone else gets their words to wrap around their pictures.  I noticed that on another site.

Not so Merry and Bright

Wow, this morning I am tired...I set my alarm to go to the gym at 5 a.m.  but did I go?  Of course not, hee hee.  Anyway, I am exhausted.  I stayed up with my husband watching Superbad.  Whew, I just managed to do a mini workout...jumproping and a tiny bit of weight lifting.  I'm currently working on a layout that I'll post later...

My first day

Hello.  This is my first post.  I'm not really sure what I'll write about or where this will take me.  All I know is...IT'S A START.  I'd really like to design scrapbook pages and be on a design team.  Those are my goals.  But for now I think I'll just start with putting together a few layouts and some projects here and there.  If I can figure out what I'm doing, I'll post pictures...
