No.
Your monitor isn't all jacked up.
My pool is green.
It was a beautiful BLUE until my wonderful husband decided that he could save us the $25/month it cost to keep it maintained.
Now, for roughly $100/month, it is a beautiful shade of SWAMP-GREEN.
I've tried to pretend that I haven't noticed the change in color.
But remember, my beautiful scrap space overlooks our pool.
So now, I get pictures like this
I call it "Cupcake stand with Dirty Window and Green Pool"
Speaking of cupcake stands, I'm still on the hunt for groovy little bowls.
I found these glass bowls at Target
in both clear and blue, with cute little bubbles blown into the glass.
I think I like them. Only 10 more bowls to go! Thanks for all of your suggestions for bowls, by the way. I'm still in the process of trying them all out :)
I'm a collector of journaling cards and little MME diecuts. I don't know what it is. I just can't help myself. So while at Target this morning, I purchased this:
What the heck is it, you ask?
The tag said "plate charger".
I'm using it for these:
my little journaling cards and diecuts. Sorry about the photo. The lighting wasn't cooperating with me today. Anyway, I'm going to hang it on my wall to make those little guys more accessible for use on my layouts.
Oh, since the plate charger is made out of wire, I used mini magnetic clothespins and a few magnets to hold the cards/diecuts in place.
If you're interested, I found it in the Easter section, where the plastic eggs and dyes are displayed.
I can't seem to stay away from my favorite little store, Anthropologie...
so...
I'm adding this to my scrap area.
It's supposed to be used as a butter dish.
But who in their right mind would slap greasy butter on this?
It's just too yummy. I keep my jewelry in it...not all of my jewelry sillies. Just my rings and Brighton bracelet. The charms drive me crazy when I scrap, so now I have somewhere pretty to keep my bracelet when I take it off.
I know what you're thinking....
...you bought a butter dish from Anthropologie for your stupid bracelet?
No sillies.
I bought the butter dish from Anthropologie because
IT'S PRETTY!
I'm putting my jewelry in it to JUSTIFY me spending $18 on it!
And no, I didn't win the lottery. I'm using the last of my gift cards on "useless", but FUN gifts for myself!
My husband said I'm turning into a "PRINCESS".
I told him "Thank You". I figure, life's too short. Every woman deserves to be a Princess at least once in this lifetime...and my time is NOW....so I guess you can say that I'm just "Princess-ing" around :)
*Sigh*
I know this is turning into a long post.
Sorry.
I only have one picture left and this one is the most important.
My dear friend Diana sent me this beautiful card
and yeah, you know I had to go out and buy something HAPPY to display it on. I purchased the "Happy Spring" place card holder at Target as well. It was meant to be. It happened to be sitting right next to the plate chargers, heehee.
If you haven't already done so, reset your clocks. I forgot to change a few of mine and have been late to a few places today already!
Oh, and by the way...I don't live at Target. I took Alexander there this morning to buy a pair of Converse (with his own money). I know I've said this before, but my sons totally RAWK!
Enjoy your Sunday.
xo
